UNHACKD

Privacy Policy

Effective 19 October 2026

Unhackd ("the app") is made by Ahmed Anwer, an independent developer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, and the choices you have. In short: we don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.

What stays on your phone

Everything you enter in the app is saved on your device: your name, onboarding answers and notes, personal goals, your signed commitment, streak and relapse history, urges and focus sessions, your My Space room, game scores and settings. If you never sign in, this data never leaves your phone.

If you sign in (optional)

You can sign in with Google or Apple to back up your progress and use it on more than one device. When you do:

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we never see your card or payment details. We use RevenueCat to check whether you have Premium. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID (or your account ID and email if you are signed in), the products you bought, and purchase dates.

Service providers

These providers process data only to provide their service to us, under their own privacy and security terms. Their servers may be located outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union.

What we don't do

How long we keep data

Data on your phone stays until you erase it or delete the app. Backup data stays while your account exists. When you delete your account, your account and backup are deleted within 30 days. Purchase records may be kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat as required for tax and accounting.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the UAE's data protection law), you may have further rights, such as objecting to processing or complaining to your local data protection authority.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Backups are protected so that each account can only access its own data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
