UNHACKD

Terms of Use

Effective 19 October 2026

These terms apply to the Unhackd app ("the app"), made by Ahmed Anwer, an independent developer in Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them. If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

What the app is

Unhackd is a self-help tool for cutting down on doomscrolling. It is not medical or psychological advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you are struggling with your mental health, please talk to a qualified professional.

Your account

Signing in with Google or Apple is optional and used for backup. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time (see Support).

Premium

Some features need Unhackd Premium, available as:

Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency, and may include tax.

Auto-renewal. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we cannot issue refunds directly.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the app: no reverse engineering, interfering with its servers, or using it to break the law.

Our rights

The app, its design, text, artwork and sounds belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control. We may update, change or stop features over time.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it working and your backup safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

Ending

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend access if these terms are seriously broken.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above will change, and significant changes will be shown in the app. Continuing to use the app means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, without affecting mandatory consumer rights in your country.
